Dr. Chloe M. Hylaire, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Dr. Chloe Marie Hylaire, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 10 years of experience in psychiatry and behavioral healthcare. Her extensive clinical background includes inpatient psychiatry, psychiatric emergency services, addiction medicine, outpatient behavioral health, and telehealth.
She provides comprehensive, patient-centered psychiatric care with expertise in psychiatric assessment, diagnostic evaluation, psychopharmacology, crisis intervention, and the treatment of complex mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders. Her clinical practice includes acute psychiatric stabilization, medication management, suicide risk assessment, addiction psychiatry, medication-assisted treatment, and continuity of care.
Throughout her career, Dr. Hylaire has cared for individuals across a broad range of psychiatric and substance use conditions and clinical settings. She works collaboratively with psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, social workers, counselors, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that address each person’s clinical needs, goals, and circumstances.
Her professional journey began in psychiatric nursing and expanded into medical and addiction care before advancing to psychiatric mental health practice. Dr. Hylaire earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Walden University, building upon her graduate preparation as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Her doctoral quality improvement project, Enhancing Cultural Competency in Outpatient Substance Use Disorder Treatment, focused on strengthening culturally responsive care for adults receiving treatment for substance use disorders. Her doctoral work reflects her commitment to evidence-based practice, health equity, quality improvement, and advancing the delivery of compassionate behavioral healthcare.
